THOUGHT PROCESS
There are so many amazing landmarks in the world that I wish I could say it was difficult to select one for this project. However, the moment the topic was brought up I immediately knew I was designing my poster on The Palace Of Fine Arts in Mexico City, also known as El Palacio De Bellas Artes. I wanted a landmark in Mexico to show appreciation to my culture, and something related to art as it is a passion of mine, therefore  it was the perfect combination. I also knew I wanted to work with photography since another infographic project I worked on is illustration focused.

REFLECTION
It was very interesting working on a layout where all the graphic connected as one, in contrast to having multiple graphics that work next to each other. I am happy with the wasy I was able to bring elements inspired in Mexican culture and how I made them work effectively with the timeline. The floral icon as well as the decorative elements are inspired in artesanías such as ceramics. I included gold elements to represent the elegance of the building itself, feeling that I also aim to portray with the type of fonts used throughout the poster. Lastly, I specially like the first mockup since it is located in the subway and I image that is how people in Mexico City would see it.
