Social Media & Infographics: Year Wrap

BRIEF
Research and data gathering to create 3 posters. Self-tracking through widely available APPS and devices to create a data visu​​​​​​​al self portrait. This report attempts to merge all of this information in a format that reveals connections, provides context and suggests correlations about who you are and your interests.

THOUGHT PROCESS

The idea behind this project was to  keep track of three of my habits, and create infographics that worked on its owned, that way they can be applied  in different mediuns, such as social media.  The posters follow a loose golden ratio grid for the placement of the titles, and a square grid for the rest.  I really wanted them to connect in the center poster, therefore I made the poster in the center stand up slightly more and only have two infographics instead of three to highlight it.  

REFLECTION

Although I really liked the idea of representing my photos with the camera icon, I realized the rest of the posters were more linear, therefore I switched from a round icon to a more squared shaped (the photo Paloroid). Additionally, I believe the social media application is very effective.
